DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT

Diagnosing Duchenne muscular dystrophy typically involves a combination of clinical evaluation, genetic testing, and muscle biopsy. While there is currently no cure for DMD, various treatments and interventions are available to manage symptoms, slow disease progression, and improve quality of life. These may include physical therapy, orthopedic interventions, respiratory support, and medications aimed at managing symptoms and addressing complications.
